O Holy Night is quite possibly the best Christmas song ever written. The best instrumental version has never been recorded but if you attended the Swanton Missionary Church back in the 70's and 80's, then you heard Mom's version played quite beautifully on her trombone. When I was a kid, there were many nights during this time of the year when I fell asleep listening to Mom practice "O Holy Night" on her trombone.

Quite simply, there is no better rendition of this song than David Phelps'. The power behind his tenor voice along with the sweeping piano accompaniment makes this an inspiring and thought provoking arrangement. The beauty of this performance never fails to bring tears to my eyes.
